*** Glenview Blaze Open House - Updated 07/26/10 *** The Glenview Blaze will host an Open House on Monday, August 2, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Blaze practice facility, located at 1919 Pickwick Drive in Glenview. Board members, current managers, and past players of the program will be there to answer any questions you may have. Board members, players, and parents who have participated in the Glenview Blaze program over the years will be available to answer any questions players and parents may have. Questions regarding tournaments, playing schedules, practice schedules, fees, playing time, and more will be answered. This will also give parents a chance to see our practice facility and meet some of our coaches and staff. If you are considering trying out for the 2011 Glenview Blaze, this is a great opportunity to have all your questions answered! We hope to see you there! *** 2011 Glenview Blaze Tryouts - Updated 07/21/10 *** Tryouts for the 2011 Glenview Blaze will be Saturday, August 21, and Sunday, August 22, at Community Park West (CPW) and Westbrook/Crowley fields, respectively. BLAZE MISSION STATEMENT |
The mission of the Glenview Blaze Baseball Program is to provide our youth with the finest instruction and the opportunity to compete at the highest levels of youth baseball. The goal of the Blaze Baseball program is to develop both outstanding character and Baseball skills to the point where they are able to compete for a position on their high school team and should they desire, compete at the collegiate level and beyond. The Glenview Blaze Baseball Program will also provide the focus and positive pursuit for our youth in a fun environment where both discipline and good sportsmanship are expected and rigidly enforced. It is our hope that these principles will continue to remain with each player throughout their life both on and off the baseball field. |
