WELCOME TO MEMORIAL DAY SALUTE TO THE TROOPS TOURNAMENT GUIDE
May 22-25, 2009
Glenview, Illinois
|
|
More than 50 teams ages 11 to 14 will play in about 100 travel baseball games at various Glenview parks throughout this Memorial Day weekend.
As Blaze wants this tournament to be a true Salute to Our Troops:
- We are asking teams and visitors to write letters to military personnel and bring donations for the troops. For more information about what items are sought, click here.
- Paper, pens, markers and crayons will be available at all of the concession sites for children and adults who would like to write letters during the tournament.
- For the past several years, the Blaze and the tournament teams and families have sent van-loads of donations to the troops. Operation Support the Troops Illinois packs and mails the donations.
